Minecraft Name: Miner1975 Suggestion: Adding Skywars To ECC. Skywars is a fun minigame that allows you to have battles in the sky! Each player has their own island, equipped with a chest full of random items. The player may sprint to the middle, larger island for extra supplies or begin to fight other players! If a player is killed, or falls off their island into the abyss, they lose and are removed from the game. The remaining players fight until there is a last man standing. For each kill there will be a money reward, and and even larger money reward for winning! (Just like sg's reward system) Players may build bridges between islands, build protective bunkers, or build any other structures they want to help them win the game. The world that the game is held in will be limited so the players cannot build too far from the central area. Reason: Many people have been complaining that kits have prevented some users from playing fairly, and that new players have been leaving our server because of this. Adding skywars would give us a chance to have a fun, pvp-based minigame without kits. This would create a fun, user-friendly environment for all players. I think we should wait to add mini games until the server becomes a hub. Also, everyone would play this and not sg, which isn't fair to the users who have purchased kits.
I'm not saying that we should add it now. I think it would be best to wait until the hub is created, too. But in all honesty, we need something new, and something to fix the whole kit problem. And that solution doesn't need to be removing or nerfing kits.
This seems like a great idea, adding a new mini-game to the server would be very beneficial and would also attract new players, also like others have stated it probably shouldn't be implemented until the server is a hub.

Will there be prize? Or just for fun? If a small prize, I say yes, but they will probably add kits 1 way or another like fly++ lets you fky in skywards, which is hopefully not true lol
The only problem is that people would play this more than sg. And there are so many sg players that would be angered because they spend $50+ on kits.
At this point, our server is losing people. The all time record of users online at once is 868 users. Now, it is a Saturday night and there are only 108 people online. Our server needs something new. And if a donator is honestly loyal and cares about the life of the server, they would agree that something like this needs to be done, even if it requires a small sacrifice.
Its their own fault if they cant op kill people with a crap ton of sg kits.... They chose to spend the money. Ecc didn't tell them too....
In this situation I don't think that its fair to point any fingers. The administrators chose to add kits, not knowing they were doing any harm. The donators bought these kits, not knowing they were doing any harm. I don't think anyone would knowingly hurt the server like this. Now a days, kits are a huge problem. Countless people have spent a lot of money on kits. I can tell you, if someone was making a suggestion that would be possibly harmful to the money I spent, i.e. Skywars drawing users from sg, I would be upset, too. And if someone replies to this thread upset about how this will effect sg, I can totally understand.
I personally have never played skywars, but do enjoy playing skyblock sometimes. I would play this some though I am not much of a pvp type player for the most part - as long as there were no kits involved. And for those that have kits, nowhere did it say that you would be able to completely rule every game or even every person that plays sg type games. There is something very wrong when every time games get suggested, it is demanded that kit players should be the only ones to win. Of course I am one of those under the strong opinion that there should be kit areas for those that have kits and regular play areas for those that do not choose that option. -1 As fun as it may be, there will be a kit added. In average servers, I have always seen a kit. The kits added may not be buffer, but they are still kits and the new users will freak. The only mini-game that I could think of that I have never seen have kits is Capture The Flag. However, I don't really think that will be added.
