Minecraft Name: schloty21 Suggestion: I am suggestion that you add a command such as /sg team (player name) and the player gets a message saying "Schloty21 wishes to team with you! Type /accept to accept and /deny to deny." When you are teamed with a person this person is immune to taking damage from you until deathmatch. Reason: Some people in survival games find that when they are fighting an opponent with their teammate, their teammate hits then and they die. I think only a maximum of 2. Since in hunger games there are 2 from each district so it should be a 2 team.
I say -1 Teaming is one of those risky things where you trust someone not to stab you in the back, "official" teaming up would ruin that, it would make sg easier, which is not something we want.
I also disagree! Peeta backstabbed the Careers to be with Katniss, so this shouldn't be implemented just because of that
I could see where your coming at but I think the people that team every round this would be useful to them. And if you don't want to get backstabbed you can send them a request and if they deny then they will most likely be backstabbed preparing you for an attack from your "teammate"
I'm talking about the people that do team every round like 7am and his brother. They would avoid killing each other in a tight situation.
I'm saying in the situation they were teaming on someone and one kills the other this would totally eliminate that. And it's just a suggestion. Thought it would be nice. Thanks for the feedback.
Here's my two cents; SG, from a game's POV, is meant to be a free for all. Meaning while teaming is an option, it was never the original intent. It gives a certain advantage to the teamers, but also comes with additional risks and downfalls. One of those risks is friendly fire and backstabbing. I think taking away these downsides to teaming would make an already strong strategy in SG even stronger, and therefore should be avoided.
Kuke has some amazing points you guys seem to be ignoring. Sg is already easy enough if you have your own team of people to split the money with.
