Minecraft Name: Shrinkwrap4me Suggestion: To change SG 1 to a different map. Reason: I believe just not myself, but other users dislike this map. Whenever I play this map, it takes about 30 minutes long (if a full game) just to finish because others are camping. It takes the fun out of the game when people want to afk to money. Eventually, people like me will want to exit the game due no one else playing. A usual full game lobby of SG takes 10 minutes. On the other hand, arena 1 is pretty much the only one where a game still lasts for a bit instead of everyone being killed instantly. So you have more time to gather items and plan a route for yoor next games on this arena. So, I think arena 1 should stay. Maybe one of the 5-8 arenas should be changed. Theoreticallly it could be swapped with an arena made from a competition I suggested a few days ago?
You may not like arena one, so play all 7 others. Personally, I like arena one if I am not playing sg for money. Arena 1 is a true test of skill and strategy, not kits.
I would agree to that, but for me and some of my friends, starvation is the worst enemy on this map. Ascending a 10 story tower for 4 apples is hardly fulfilling, kit vsg keeps me alive for about a few minutes. When this supply is exhausted, however, I am reduced to a crawl searching for either a player or a chest.
Welcome to how the survival games used to be played. This map takes longer to finish unlike most maps. This was how sg used to be when it was first introduced and there was no kits.
When was that exactly? As for the suggestion, as others have pointed out, there are 7 other maps that you can play on. Also, it is a test of strategy. If don't like the map, I don't see the point in playing it.
If someone is afking in sg, you can ask a mod to kick them... it's been around since I started Sg'ing a couple weeks/months ago.
As of this morning, 2 people were in SG2, I think they were kicked, but not sure. I believe it was Sick24 who said that it's allowed.
SG 1 takes survival skills and all other types of skills and a lot more than just pvp or kits, however the map is a lot less action packed and I always tend to lose interest and climb to the top of the buildings.
I agree but this is more of a builder map in my opinion, I rarely play this arena, while I don't like it and agree it takes to long, its almost like a builder sg with no kits almost
Two words - 1)Survival 2)Games the truth is yes it takes a while but it's survival games for a reason. Personally I like that map not because of the longevity of the games on it but for the atmosphere. Large destroyed metropolis is the perfect setting for a survival game. It's a survival game made for players to test their skills at surviving not for good pvpers to make a quick 1k+ even if that's what it's turning into (hence the suggestions trying to quicken the games @deathmatch limits @smaller maps @time limits) the large map and hard to reach places is a good change to the close quarter or one plane matches like arena 3 and 5 so I'm sorry but -1 each map has its own charm about it. Survival is the name of the game if people want to hide I suggest finding and killing them or if the occasional troll afks just ask a mod.
I disagree, it's the only map we have where the game isn't over in 5 minutes. I, as well as many others, don't mind when games take longer. If you don't like it when games take long then avoid this one map. There's 7 other maps for you to play on.
I wish all maps were like 4 and 2, small to medium sized and has chests everywhere, the other 6 are usually medium-very large, with next to no chests.
