Minecraft Name: rockboy2000 Suggestion: Have a specific schedule for when the mining and nether worlds will be reset Reason: Firstly, it allows players to be aware of when the server is likely to be down in advance. This simply means people aren't disappointed when they log on to find the server down, and allows users to plan homework or whatever around playing on ECC. Secondly, instead of people complaining that the mining world needs a reset, they will have to accept the worlds are reset every x weeks and the next reset will be on a certain date. Furthermore, staff will actually have an answer when players ask when the mining and nether worlds will be reset. This is important for new members, who may be put off by the fact that the mining world, a main money source, is so mined out. They can be re-assured a reset will be coming soon. Any Other Information: I look forward to hearing other people's views. I can't really see any downside to having this, but would love to be enlightened should people see an issue I may have missed.
I like this idea but at the end of the day it's up to Andrew as it's ultimately his choice as to when he has the time/effort to reset the worlds. If Andrew is okay with it, +1.
You can always generate the world well beforehand and just upload it roughly around the scheduled date.
+1, but as Mission said the fact you plan your life around mining resets isn't a good reason imo. But the suggestion is good.
What I meant by that was if the mining reset was going to happen in the evening, you may choose to play ECC in the afternoon and do your coursework in the evening, rather than the other way round.
