Hello, I would like to suggest some sort of way for a player to completely reset their account, as in go back to builder and everything. Give them a way to have a completely fresh start. I know some older players, at least I personally, feel like there isnt much to achieve anymore after a certain point, and would like to be able to go back to the builder rank and start all over. Maybe have this be some sort of application, with the requirement being that any towns you own have to be given up? I am unsure on if Donation features would stay or not (I know some members may be upset, however it defeats the purpose of a complete reset). Just an idea, as im debating whether I just buy a new account, or wait and see how this suggestion goes. ~Pbrass
It's really not a reset unless you have your features wiped. Really the only thing you'll need to do is rank back up again. That being said, the only people who would want a reset would most likely have spent quite a lot on features. Those who haven't invested lots of time/money into the server would have no reason to say "there's nothing left for me to accomplish on here". So instead of losing everything you have in an account reset, like your time and money... why not just purchase an alt and go from there?
The problem with a reset (from what I've found from playing on an alt anyway) is that you don't really get that "new" experience. Already knowing how basically everything works reduces starting from scratch from being exactly that to simply grinding your way to wherever you want. Cash and ranks are trivial since you're really better off just using your main (or I suppose, pre-reset) account that already has those things where you can increase them. Items are the same really, I'm not sure of the difference between buying a [insert whatever tool here] for the first time or simply buying a second one. Really the only big benefit here I think is the ability to obtain new towns without paying the frankly exorbitant prices for them if you're going into your town 3-4-5-etc. Seems like we could just make towns great again and cover that point, though.
