Minecraft Name:vengfulbacon Suggestion: make a 1 week waiting period between requesting to be banned and getting unbanned Reason: Alot of users are requesting to be banned, and requesting to be unbanned the following day, or next few days. If they had to wait 1 week it will calm things down a bit. As users thinks its ok to get banned on request, then next day ask to be unbanned. This is why we should have to wait 1 week between requesting a ban and requesting a unban.
Why would anyone want to be banned? Surely it's much better just to quit for a few days? And this would require moderation, possibly creating more complaints from people who don't want to wait a week.
We've discussed this privately amongst ourselves (ourselves being the staff), and we've decided to let things slide if it's just once (getting banned so you "can sleep" is still a bit out of line though) - but if it happens repeatedly, we won't be unbanning for a while.
