Minecraft Name: Dccciz Suggestion: Reopen this thread (https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/warp-credits.134898/page-3). Reason: Because of school I wasn't active from Sept 1st to late November. I learned a while ago that warps were replaced for portals and thought that I could apply for a change when I needed the warp. I recently had the idea of changing my town into a farm (which I paid 75k for a portal for). Now, I have to pay another 40k for something that I already paid 75k for; an easy method of transportation for users who don't have multihome. People who paid 75k for a portal shouldn't have to pay more money for something they already bought. By buying my portal, I thought it would always be a way for players to reach my towns, but I guess that's not the case unless you have an extra 40k to spend. Any Other Information: Nope. How would exchanging town features contribute anything to inflation? Anyway, no need for a limit in the first place. +1
How do you know? Inflation is 90% battled by lotto (1m a day keeps inflation away!). Besides, I doubt giving people something that's worth less than they already paid is going to somehow going to inflate the economy.
Where was it mentioned that it was because of inflation concerns? You said it was because of that, so I expect you to confirm that.
It was said numerous times in global on that day - I'm going to tag @andrewkm to confirm that. (I know, tagging server owner = bad, but it's relevant here)
+1, there should be a application in mayors+ with special directions that allows mayors+ to link old apps and get free portals. To erase years of portals and give returning players nothing should be avoided at all costs.
If this time limit is removed, does that mean if I claim a town that once had a portal, can I then transfer it to a working warp without having to pay anything?
Also - @Dccciz, you didn't link the portal-warp thread (https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/portal-to-warp-exchanges.134827) - you only linked the warp credit thread, which Emau's post deals with. Was this intentional?
