I believe that if a photo has a time stamp of someone sending said player a mail message asking them if they would remove their locks or whatever, and it has been five days without response, then the locks should be removed without question. Maybe just make pictures a requirement to make the system flow more smoothly?
The only way a player can show that they have sent a mail to the person it to take a screenshot of the typed out message and afterwards with the "mail sent" message, right?, However what is to stop people from typing out a message to the person who owns the locks and screenshot it then deleting the message and sending a mail to say their friend saying "hi" just to show the "mail sent" message so they can screen shot it to "prove" they sent the message?
Jakey is right but this is still a problem. If I were to kick someone out, and the player remained active but never responded to my mails or pms, how would I get rid of his locks?
Exactly, although I do agree with you Jakey; this is an issue that needs to be resolved because I once ran into conflict when I tried to kick my co-mayor and his locks were in town and an admin told me he couldn't remove them because he was last online like 12 hours ago.
If he doesn't respond after trying to contact him several times, take screenshots and file an LWC removal with the screenshots.
