I suggest we remove the /clear command.. theres no real good reason to have it I just lost a bunch of tools and we have disposal signs or lava to delete items

When you purchase a donation, you should know all the features that comes with it. It tells you that /clearinventory, /clear, and /ci all clear your inventory.
This has been suggested about a million times, so I highly doubt this will happen. And in the words of KHobbits himself:

The reason /ci hasn't been removed (do not tell me sarcasm "oh yeah they make you lose your items") because it takes enchanted items out of the game. Items can be /sold and taken out of the game but other then human error tools and enchant cannot. Having /clear from an economical point of view claims many melon swords and eff 7s, they are taken out of the economy. So yes, it hasn't been removed cause it is one of the only ways tools and other non sellable items are taken out of the economy.
I NEVER need to use /clear, I always just /sell all, then put the other stuff in a disposal sign or even better just put the stuff in a random chest just in case I decide to use it... Seriously, I just find this command useless. IMO: A better suggestion would be to make everything sellable (except tools and armor)
remove /ci but not /clearinventory cause if they want 2 they can do that but if accidently type in /ci then it shouldnt clear inventory
There's not much point to it at all other than destroying tools and then it's only available to donators so alot don't have access to it So it only effects the limited people that have spent money on ext creations(or commands can't remember) And everyone has access to the /sell all command that's alot safer to use Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The only way to justify clearing something IMO is doing /pt clear. This gives the assumption that you are clearing a power tool and ends up clearing your inventory. I would like /ci removed but /clear inventory to stay, this satisfies both sides. These posts are very contradicting of each other, you say you want the command to clear your "crap" from your inventory, yet you don't want to get rid of it? Make up your mind before trying to shoot a suggestion down. Also, /pt to clear your PTs is not a well know fact, /pt clear seems reasonable so that is why a lot of tools are lost, not because people "magically type /ci"
