Bring back the raffle. Not sure why it was removed, but it would be cool to re-add it. Only reason I see it not coming back is because it takes away from donating. Leave comments below!
As you probably know, it's like the same prizes you get if you're a top voter. So, more people getting free features/kits = less people that will donate to the server
-1 i could see the original raffle system modified to not damage the economy. example no coupons.. thats the first thing people say.. give me coupons.. NO. a servers visibility on websites like planetminecraft depend on 2 things, 1 money.. purchasing ad space, and 2 votes.. voting a server up move the server up in the list of "popularity". currently the top 10 voters.. the top 10 people who helped "advertise" the server gets prizes at the end of the month.. +1 giving a random set of people "prizes" for being active on ECC isnt a bad idea. few extra N-stars/diamonds never hurt anyone and because its random it could help out a builder getting started. /1 re-adding a raffle system adds more things for mods/GA+'s to do, and also adds another thing to complain about. "why did i only get 2 diamonds and he got 4?"
Ahhh, i remember that exciting moment when i got $40k from andrew absolutely randomly The best raffle is the 128 of each mineral voting winners. It was perfectly fine.
1.I thought coupons were given out. My bad. 2. You realize there are 12 moderators? If three mods were in charge of it every month, it wouldn't be difficult at all. Then, once they finish, they switch with 3 new mods. That means they only have to do it every 4 months, which is 3 times a year. 3. "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit." If it's really necessary, make a rule that says don't whine about what you receive from raffle. This won't be a problem though.
