Minecraft Name: Berserk_on_xbl Suggestion: Adding the Pyro++ Donation Feature Reason: Since a lot of the donation features are getting ++ features, there should be one for pyro too... The only thing this would give is making lava translucent, I think that many people would love this. The single most difficult thing to do on this server is fill in lava while you're inside of it, because you cant see anything. That's at least how i feel about it. Any Other Information: Maybe other things can be added on, but this would be a major one, or making sponge able to soak up lava too ;-;. oh god... what have i done.
Well I don't think it would be considered xray if it doesn't show anything different but that. Not to mention the way stuff such as xray is caught is by tracking the amount of money someone is making and then investigating. So even if it was considered xray if you didn't use it as xray you can't really get in trouble for it unless you do something dumb.
I have to highly disagree with you, I like the suggestion, but like kuke said it is client side so unless we get lava sponge there is nothing server side to be done. You know the saying "If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all", I personally feel you should adhere to this as it is because you didn't even add to the conversation.
I believe that this takes away what water users pay for. And adding to that I think this is basically suggesting to implement an xray donation feature to some degree.
The mod Optifine used to offer transparent lava, and its not like using this lets you see through the entire world to find caverns, dungeons, abandoned mineshafts, monster spawners etc. how does it all take away from the water donation?
I mean sponges are exclusive to water so a new item would need to be added or the sponge would require extra coding. I guess that isn't as bad if it is just lava. But I don't see why you would need to see in lava. Normally you place the lava after you have done your building or what ever. I guess it is a possibility but maybe it should be added to the existing pyro+ instead.
He is talking about how for example when clearing out my town there was lava everywhere and filling it in was a pain in the you know what and if there was a way to see in it filling it in with stone or whatever would have saved so much pain and time.
I didn't think he meant clearing it. But yes that is a problem. Even with sponges though they only clear a certain area, bit of a pain.
this is exactly what i meant, because me and pillar run the same town and have been filling in the same lava pockets, thats why hes supportive of it is because he knows why i made the suggestion. Im not saying for xray reasons, Im saying this for help clearing lava.
