Minecraft Name: Fuzzydoors Suggestion: This is an idea I've had for quite some time that I think could suit Ecocitycraft just fine. The main thought would be to find a suitable fairly large PvP server, (ecocitycraft size or more in terms of players) and try coming up with a cooperation between ecocitycraft and the pvp server. They would both have a link of the ip to the other server on their forums and maybe somewhere ingame. Perhaps a donation on either of the servers could give something to the player on both server, or some other form of reward, giving those who donate a reason to play on both. Reason: The Pvp on ecocitycraft is ok but for a great pvp experience which is very popular overall on minecraft you get that from serious pvp servers, which ecocitycraft isn't and making it so would require alot of effort and Any Other Information: This would be a good way to get players to ecocitycraft, many people know about pvp but few pvper now about economyservers, and that's where ecocitycraft benefits. Chances are players from the pvp server would come have a look at ecocitycraft and hopefully some will stay on it and play on both. Ecocityplayers would have a pvp good pvp server which in which you would find alot of familiar players from ecocitycraft. Link To This Plugin: Not needed.
If we can get rid of the pvp world or other PVP things on ECC, maybe. But heres the issues I personally find with this: -I really honestly think that this will get them more members, not us. I highly doubt many PVPers would come to ECC if we need to rely on another server to get good PVP. -If we have to rely on another server, people will start coming up and complaining that ECC needs to start being more PVP or something. I personally joined because it wasn't completely pvp. And to be honest, PVPers are not known for the best behavior in the world. ECC is known for economy, if they want real, good PVP they can go to another server.
I did read it thoroughly, which is why your response made little sense, because the suggestion was to interact with a pvp server, and you told him to go to a pvp server instead, which is basically what he's saying, only it's not official. I also never said I agreed with this suggestion, people are not limited to being on ECC, if people want to pvp they search for a pvp server.
I'm starting to wonder whether my suggestion was properly described or not. My thought was, NOT to turn ECC into a PvP server, but rather have a cooperation with a PvP server. Not a cooperation in the term that they are relying on eachother, but rather act as a complement for those the other server lack. Players would pvp on the pvp server (obviously) and play survial on ECC, for those who were interested which would be X amount of players that choose to do this. Some would be intersted in Pvping, some would not. There have been some discussion whether this would cause ECC to lose players, however I do now belive so. Everyone know there is PvP servers, that's not something new, those who really only care about that would have left ECC a long time ago. Those who play here now are from my experience mostly regulars, and just because it's economy related does not mean that players ONLY care about playing on a economy server, there are still those so sometimes likes to PvP. (You can play on more then one server This is why I belive you have very little to lose on it, losing players seems very unlikley from a small cooperation between two servers. Just gaining a few players is better then gaining none. Sry for the semi novel, hope this clear some things up.
I agree with this suggestion. This will just role in many more users. Connect the servers using bunegeecord a proxy. Then have a portal. We do not want to get to hubby though.

Indeed. The idea of this is also to give a bit of guidence for players on the pvp server and here on ecc. You feel that you want to do something differnt, maybe some pvp, you go to the ECC website and see "ECC recommends ServerX for great PvP" or something, and you'll go "Ik ECC is good, perhaps I can give this a pvp server a try today since I don't really feel like farming pumpikins today". For players on the PvP servers it's harder to find a good server for survival rather then finding a good PvP server and they would go to their website and read "We recommend EcoCitycraft if you're looking for a great Economy experience". And it would have the ip and some futher information, it's does not have to be much more then that.
