Minecraft Name: Tanmanyellow17 Suggestion: To make PvP and SG chat channels accessible from any place on the server, not just those specific worlds. Reason: It would help prevent rage or discussion related to PvP or SG to interfere with global or local channels. Any Other Information: This was being discussed with physicistsmom earlier, and I think it could come in handy for many situations. Link To This Plugin: Not available.
We could disable the local chat in throat areas so you have to use the PvP an SG channels and local would be the easiest way to bypass this whole suggestion.
Would your suggestion include preventing talk about SG in global as well? As in, would you suggest that it is mandatory to use these channels?
I believe this would be good. Global is spammed with arguments over SG and stupid shenanigans. We should relieve the general public of this drama and set SG chat as another globally accessible channel so it can be moderated.
It depends. I would say that if two users were trying to communicate while in a SG game, they could use /ch SG as opposed to global. But my main purpose of this was to make it possible to blow off steam or rage in the SG or PvP channels - as long as it is appropriate - rather than arguing about it in global. Additionally, these channels would still be accessible in those specific worlds, however, I am suggesting that they are able to be used from anywhere on the server to ensure that discussion related to PvP or SG will remain out of global to not cause further issues. If need be, let me know if you want any other information added into the main post of this thread.
Honestly, I like this idea. I do. It really should be implemented. The only thing that I see wrong with it is that if somebody gets angry while in SG or in PVP, what's to stop them from continuing to rage to the larger audience? If there are 5 people in the SG channel at the time, and there are 50 people online, some people might feel the need to rage where more people will see it in order to get their "point" across, whatever it may be.
