When you have only two items in your inventory (an axe and food) with a full inventory you will make $870.40 for 2,176 pumpkins. i just think the prices of the pumpkin are really low compared to other items that are generated the same way. -1 How is it too stubborn? It's not being stubborn to have low prices in order to maintain an economy. If the prices rose, pumpkins do not take much to farm, and as a result inflation rates would rise on our economy (which, if you didn't know, is a bad thing). Also, it would make the melon sword useless as pumpkins would make just as much. You might say "well raise the price on melons then" and to that I say heck no as we don't want easy money on ECC. (This message is to all people, not just jw) We want people to have to actually work in order to go places on this server. If you don't like that fact, and the fact that prices on farming will likely never go up, by all means you can leave. If you want to make more money farming, farm pumpkins until you can afford a melon sword and purchase it. It will make just as much as 0.60 pumpkins will.
Ok what i should of said was .60 is way to much but something needs to go up farming makes nothing anymore melon swords are not worth it if u have to pay a mil to get one and never pay it off
Then don't get one. I've got one, paid it off three times over Pumpkins could go up to MAYBE 0.45. Anything higher would just make them nearly as good as melons.
Sound like you are depending on melons as easy cash..and also melons grow as pumpkins do. so maybe melons should be dropped to $0.40 too.

Let's look at the two Melons = $1.65 Pumpkins = $0.40 Tools: Melon sword: $800,000+ Pumpkin axe: $7500-$11000 Amount made per hour: Melons: $14,000-$16,000 maximum Pumpkins: (Just an estimate, haven't farmed them in a while): $8,000-$10,000 Rate farmed at: Melons: About 1.6-1.8/second Pumpkins: Up to 8 blocks per second if you know what you're doing I have no idea what you're talking about when you say melons grow as pumpkins do and that melons should be dropped to $0.40. That makes absolutely no sense, and if you could explain to me logically why melons should be dropped and how melon and pumpkin farming is similar I would appreciate it. Also, I'm not depending on melons as "easy cash" because it isn't. It takes $800,000 to get a melon sword not including all of the features needed to make up to 16k per hour. It can take days of farming (assuming you are up for 16 hours a day and sleep) to make your money back on a melon sword, while pumpkins can take maybe 2 hours to get your money back on the axe if you consider repairs and the speed you go at. Melon farming speed can't be increased with fly by the way, pumpkin speed can.
-1 is a useless thing to say without backing why you said -1. -1 is useless, it just states that you're against the suggestion but without a reason why you're against it. It's more constructive to explain why the suggestion should not happen.
