Minecraft Name: RaginDevonian Suggestion: Bump prices of /sell hand items Reason: With the post eula being 15k/usd, we need more money coming into the economy because more is going out. Any Other Information: Farming as already needed a bump. Especially melons, this just furthers the reason. Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: I believe it is called the server admin team.
bumping everything is just silly. Besides, you have absolutely no idea how the economy is going to handle 15k/usd. You can't pre-emptively make decisions on something you can only make assumptions of. Let's wait it out first.
This^^ Once this does happen we need some time to settle down and just watch how things play out. 15k/usd could be fine. Who knows?
This. As the person who initially proposed this idea, I wasn't intending for this to be done immediately, or at all for the matter, depending on the circumstances The statements I've made were based off of basic economic assumptions I made in the event of the EULA changes - I never said these were proven effects, as well, nothing's actually happened yet in regards to the EULA so it's literally impossible to tell these economic effects for sure. We simply have nothing proven to go off of when making these changes. Raising sell prices for everything right now is just a daft policy. -1 for now.
I said POST eula. I am well aware that predicting is nearly impossible. But I stand by my $2 melon blocks. $14k/hour for a million dollar tool, woo!
Bumping melon prices is different than bumping all prices. I think that bumping all prices would just increase the cost of star tools and that stuff but we wont really know what we need to do until after eula and then we can make the needed changes to re balance the economy. I also think that yes melon blocks need a buff cuz melon farming is a terrible way to make money so +1 to melon block price increase and we need to wait until after eula for the other stuff so -1 on that right now.
Why make a suggestion now, then? We haven't even seen the economic effects from these changes, at all. As far as raising melon prices go, there's already a suggestion up by RyanBlocks02 to increase the prices of melons. But that's not what this suggestion is about, anyways. This suggestion is simply too premature - We should wait and see the economic effects from these changes. Jumping to conclusions right now is just silly.
Make the suggestion now so it will sit here until it actually happens, and when it does, maybe something will be done instead of it just sitting in the vast wasteland that is the suggestion forum. Very few go through, yet, hundreds are actually needed. The suggestion by Ryan, though great, is somewhere over the rainbow on the 3rd or 4th page. Yet it is needed? This seems like a problem. The suggestion is here when it is needed.
Again, this is for when it ACTUALLY happens. Can we not just make people aware of huge changes that could be coming? I ask what's wrong with being prepared with some numbers just incase all heck breaks loose during the change.
...I don't get what you're trying to say. The best I'm figuring is that you're making this suggestion based on an issue which doesn't yet exist, may not ever exist, and if it is going to exist, we have no timeframe on when it will? Even if we hypothetically did, the numbers we'd need to make informed changes simply don't exist yet. We'd risk just as much economic issue changing the numbers with no information than simply not changing them.
Aren't all suggestions hypothetical? Sorry for all you who believe, but psychics and the power to know don't exist. Yes, I am making this based on a event that may never happen, but what do you do when it does? I am just saying, price bumps COULD be the way to go. I am aware this will sit here like 7/8 of the suggestion forum, but it could be part of 1/8 needed. It may be a little premature, but Andrew said changes in 1-2 weeks, 1 1/2 weeks ago. Get ready, cause here it comes.
