[Suggestion] Pay even when offline

I'm not actually sure if this is possible to be honest. I don't disagree it would be a good system, but then you'd need a way for the person getting paid to know where the money came from or they might just assume you didn't pay them back. This would likely still end in complaints until the offline pay screenshot is provided. I'd like this, I just feel it would need a lot of kinks worked out.

 

If you need something like this, I would suggest using a trade sign. That is the system I use while taking out loans and all, so incase the user isn't online, I just put the money into the sign they set up. Also, for security reasons, if you are taking out a loan, make sure you lock the sign to it can be investigated if necessary.

 

Contact me, I am setting up a public trade building in my town for things like this. My town is called Heaven1, it is connected to the spawn towns. Just walk from spawn through Recours, then Imperium and you are there. Also, there is /warp heaven1 and the building is on the right.

 

If we could have it work like our in game mail system, I think it would work just fine.

When you'd log in it would pop up a message saying, "You have 1 new payment. Type /view payment to check" and then when you type that it would say, "Payment from [Username}: $*******" From that point you'd have two options of /payment accept, or /payment return.

I'm fairly sure we can't do this right now, however I think it would be beneficial to the server to find some way to do something like this. Another thing, If the player is trying to lie and say they aren't receiving payment via this system, their actions would be logged on the server when they /payment return or /payment accept.

 

The problem I see is that the user who is receiving the payment will do /pay accept no matter what, weather they were intended to receive it or not. I just think it's way too complicated to do it this way, or any similar way I can think of.

 

If you wanted to do it the way I suggested, just mail/pm/let me know, and I will give you perms to the town temporarily. There, you will go to the building, and would place a sing for the loan.

 

Also, user-to mod- to user is a good way of getting money around. Explain to the mod what its about, pay them, take a screenshot (even though the mod is not gona take it), then when that user is back on, the mod will pay the specified user.

 

Not every staff member will agree to do this though.

 

Yea like t_bone said, basically if i do /pay revanrose6 100000, she will get a mail saying, you have received 100000 from shotgunboy0130, i think that would be cool, maby have it where we could add a reason to it, like what would that 100000 be for.
