Hello EcoCityCrafters! As I type this, it is currently midnight so this suggestion might to me when I look back at it be really stupid or a very clever idea. This is a suggestion based on SG and how dead SG pretty much is because of the overflow of kit users wrecking non-kit users. There are two options to this solution, #1. Remove kits entirely (which would be a waste of time and effort in getting the kits) Or... #2. Give one free kit to people in SG! But... Its not as easy as a "free kit" sounds. My choice is answer #2 because I think I have a clever way to pull it off. So, the way by getting a free SG kit is no its not by doing nothing, no, you have to EARN it by either making another SG medal to get the free kit (which I might make as a suggestion) or, if your really really REALLY lucky, by voting. This gives voting a true purpose because of the deflation of nstars. The more votes you get, the more popular the server gets, the higher chance of ECC being the mother of economy-based servers. Once you obtain the kit, it has a day cool down time. The kit will proberbly be like other kits with the full enchanted leather, but I'm thinking a sharp 3 unbreaking 1 fire aspect 2 wood sword with a power 2 punch 2 flame 1 bow with lots of poison and harming potions but steak instead of gapples. The steak instead of gapples lowers the OPness of the kit. I think this is a good idea and have high hopes for it. More people will play SG, votes will mean something and the server will be more popular. Thanks for the time
Good luck getting an SG medal without kits. lmao Anyway, the chances of getting the "free kit" is too slim. You should check out kuke's trial kit suggestion if you want something that could actually work.
The kit could have a day cool down and it would take a time to get the free kit, which is why I said it isn't exactly free.
If the free kit from voting is one you get exclusively from voting, then it'd have to be decent to have that amout of work put into it. If it's a random kit from the list of kits we have already, being the top voter gets you gift cards for the shop, you could just buy one with that.
I wasn't too sure how I was going to incorporate the kit In to something, voting or a medal where the only two things that sprung to mind. Could you suggest anything that could make the kit decent?
+1 I don't really think we can remove kits entirely, so giving a free kit sounds like a good idea. I think maybe it should be like getting lucky at voting but obviously way more rare, it is pretty close to impossible to get a SG medal without kits...
To play off this idea, I think that it would be interesting to have there be a random chance for someone to spawn a kit in their inventory if another user used kits. But that would probably be a nightmare to implement.
