[Suggestion] Not enough space in world?

I was looking at the Live-Map, trying to find a nice spot to hide away, and could not find a suitable location. Most player made structures are within a few hundred meters of each other. Virtually all the islands are being used, and the main continents are completely packed.
There is a problem here, for players like myself that like to isolate themselves from other areas. I personally like living on an island, tunneling deep, making structures to entertain myself. I feel that many players also share this interest, and since there is no land that is isolated from another structure, the playing style they enjoy is not available.
When a certain quality is not present in a service, some may choose to not return to said service. I feel this may soon become the case with Ecocity. If land is sparse and grief constant, people who do not have the money to join a town may find themselves in a difficult position. A good server, in my opinion, has areas to hide away; an area far from anything else that only you would know about. There are many who desire a place where they do not have to fear for griefers destroying their work. I am one of the people who desire that; a place far from any other land where I can build in peace.
There is also a problem with the Live-Map. People can easily use it to find unprotected areas to grief. I am against using a Live-Map for this reason, as I am sure others are. Looking on the Live-Map myself, I saw many things that a griefer would target if given the chance. A Live-Map is, in my opinion a "menu" for griefing; a big map of the best places to grief. I would like the Live-Map removed, as it does not have much use other than locating a town.
Perhaps, in stead of a Live-Map, there was a command to find out the co-ordinates of a town. There could also be a command to hide your town from that service, as to keep it a secret. That way, people looking for a certain town can use the command, and find it without use of a Live-Map. Without a Live-Map, griefing will decrease, as it will be harder for a griefer to find a target.
Also, the issue of the land shortage must be dealt with. There are only two real options for dealing with it. Expanding the world size, which will result in more lag, making it harder for the server to function at optimal condition, or resetting the map completely, which will give players with my style a chance to find a hide-away as well as reduce lag significantly.
To avoid having the great builds be deleted forever, you could submit the build to be carried over. Take screenshots, mark the co-ordinates, and have a staff member approve or disapprove. To avoid having requests spammed, there should be a minimum size of the build, so a dirt house would not be carried over. Things that are carried over should have taken over 2 weeks of work, not something that was built in a few days, and could easily be done again.
This issue definitely needs proper attention, and if it goes unchecked, Ecocity may lose potential members.
