Minecraft Name: krimsonphoenix Suggestion: 1.) Things like placing water or using an anvil should be, at the least, possible for non-Donation users. For instance, players can collect all the buckets of water that they want to make potions, and they can place it, but the water dissipates after a couple in-game days. Or put a limit on how many buckets of water can be in a non-donator's inventory at one time. Non-donators could use others' anvil's for a price (Eco-dollars), but they cannot make their own anvil unless they donate. 2.) We need a method for store owners to advertise specials and prices without cluttering up the chat window. Perhaps, store owners could have their own section on the forums, if they wish. It could be purchased with Eco-dollars (advertising usually costs money!) Reason: 1.) This makes the normal functions in the game (collecting/placing water, using an anvil, etc) possible for those who cannot afford, in real life, to donate money, though it is more effort to accomplish these tasks than it is for a donator. If you look at Farmville, they make it possible for non-paying users to get the premium "Farm Bucks" but it takes a long time to accumulate them. I do understand that running a server incurs expense, and that you nice people volunteer your time to make it wonderful for the players. If you give this a try, it will still encourage people to donate (people like me who get impatient and just want the task completed more quickly), but they will donate because they want to and not because they have to. (Please don't take this the wrong way. It is just a friendly suggestion, not a complaint. I love playing on your server. 2.)There are two reasons for some kind of advertising. The first reason is that chat window. There is so much going on that it sometimes blocks my view. The second reason is for comparing prices. Both consumers and store owners might find it easier to find or offer the lowest price if advertising could take place. I don't know about anyone else, but I despise running around the market to look for the best deals.
Sorry, you must donate to use donator features. This has been suggested many times before and was denied by Andrewkm himself. If we gave normal users the ability to use donation features, that would upset all the users who actually donated for that specific feature.
