Minecraft Name: Legotom001 Suggestion: make it illegal to have 1x1-4x4 holes in the ground. Reason: I have died so many times to them, and i asked on the server allot of others have died from them and hate them as well. They are illegal per Clause 2.1 Submit a report/message an SMod+. If the creation of the hole is recent, they can see who created it with log block. Just make sure to tell them to enable fly so that they do not die themselves. Here is the aforementioned clause: Clause 2.1 Disallowed Structures There are several disallowed structures on this server, which are prohibited even in the wild: Blocks spelling out inappropriate language. Signs with defamatory and/or vulgar language. Cactus farms. Player traps in non-PvP worlds. Continuous redstone clocks are not allowed. Temporary, small redstone clocks are fine so long as they are only used for a short period at a time. Farms that operate by means of Redstone Lamps or turning off the lights in order to break crops (aka. "Light farming") Large passive mob farms or any large collection of passive mobs are strictly forbidden. Small farms (50 mobs or less) are allowed so long as they do not cause any server lag. Any buildings deemed inappropriate by staff.
If I'm digging to get down to y:11, that's illegal? Unless it's an actual trap, I don't believe it's illegal.
I usually do the same thing, but turn around about 5 blocks down and cover the hole back up. Now, if someone else comes along and digs those 2 blocks out while on top of them, that's not a trap... that's an idiot detector. Maybe go down 5 blocks, over 3 then down to Y:11 would help? But realistically, if you are digging and find a hole without fly, then it could be a cave, or lava, or an abandoned mine... all sorts of things the seed could have put there anyway. A 1x1 (I guess up to 4x4?) straight down hole with no cover? yea, that's a jerk move.
Probably not, no. However I think this should be under staff discretion. There are cases where somebody is obviously just going down to mine. However, there are cases where the hole is obviously there to kill somebody. 1x1 should be legal due to the obvious mining purpose. However, anything beyond that should probably have the staff team involved on a case by case basis.
Just dig down in a stairs formation... Problem solved. Don't start fighting over a silly little thing.

Or maybe just watch where are you going? I mean really you can see them from miles away just tilt the camera a but lower than usual- problem solved.
I mean fill it in fully at least you can dig down 3 blocks and fill the 2 above you in and keep repeating. I dont dig down, i mine into them and then fall in.
It takes too much time to dig down two then place 2 blocks. Just be careful and don't fall in problem solved
