Minecraft Name: JBuks Suggestion: To somehow make it impossible or illegal to have a nickname and vanish on at the same time. Reason: It's really annoying because when I do /realname when the person is in vanish it doesn't seem to work... Any Other Information: Nope Link To This Plugin: Not really sure what plugin this would be or even if this is possible...
+1 , This glitch renders the /realname command useless. Not only is it hard enough to figure out who the nickname'd person is when this works regularly, but the inability to figure out who the user is when invisible and nickname'd?
I think jakeyray18 said something about this ingame and how it wasn't a big deal since moderators could see if players are vanished. But yeah, it is pretty confusing to other players. The only way to tell is off of someones tag or if its related to their IGN. +1
If we are given /realname and are given the right/privilege to always know who someone is when they have a nickname on, then we should be allowed to use /realname on vanished users. Although I can somewhat understand "Staff can see it, so it's fine," all users are given /realname... So they should be allowed to use it no matter a user's visibility status.
Agreed, the vanish and nickname thing is highly annoying, as it makes it impossible for regular users to figure out who the nick'ed user actually is. +1
