I think what riku is trying to suggest is that instead of nickname being its own separate feature, make it customtag +. That way you would be required to have a tag next to your name to identify your person before making changes to your actual name. Interesting idea... Btw, love the avatar riku
I say +1 to this simply because if a user is vanished with a nickname, I can not tell who they are unless they already have a customtag. For example, BacktothePast has [Future] which makes it easy to identify him even when his nickname is **Popular and /realname doesn't work on him.
