Minecraft Name: dpatt888 Suggestion: 1. Make a /nick++ package where users can bypass the 5 minute cool down, and can make a longer nickname. 2. Add a cool down bypass for current /nick+ users. Reason: Even though I currently do not have the /nick and /nick+ packages I have seen several frustrated users who made their /nick the wrong color or made a typo and have to wait 5 minutes to change it. Also, if a /nick user was to make a nickname that had a typo in it and accidentally formed a curse word or something not appropriate for the servers chat! +1/-1 I like this suggestion and I wouldn't mind it being implemented for the reasons you stated above. The problem is, is that it can be abused extremely easily by changing you nickname every second creating a lot of spam. I feel that people will abuse this right and it would cause a lot, a lot of issues.
If you make a mistake in your nickname, as I have done, I type /nick off. There will be way to many trolls with this, considering how easy it would be to change nicknames. Also, in order to be effective, it would have to cost less than $50.
I think that your suggestion is good, but there are also users how would abuse this command, so therefor -1
The reason there's a cooldown is because people can't constantly change their username and confuse staff.
