Minecraft Name: Skullman774 Suggestion: Making a new rule about replying to ratings in staff applications. Reason: As you can see, there is no rule about ratings of a staff application and replying to them. I have seen a couple of applications where people thanked the people that rated their application (therefore just bumping their application), and I think that there should be a rule (does not matter if it allows/prevents, I just think that there should be a rule stated there, just so users know whether they're allowed to do it or not) on that. Any Other Information: Nope, that's it, now the staff may decide whether they want to make a new rule on it or not, and whether the rule will allow/prevent thanking for/replying to people's ratings on staff applications. Link To This Plugin: N/A Thanks, Skull
Why make something a rule that isn't a problem? Adding more rules simply stifens the growth of ideas and information. If you can't take the heat from people's comments on your staff app, then you shouldn't apply. They're posted on the forums, and not PM'd to Andrew, for a reason; So the public can weigh in before staff do.
No, this rule that I have suggested has nothing to do with me 'not being able to take the heat'. Most comments on my app are positive, so I don't mind. I think that you misunderstood my suggestion; I was suggesting that there should be a rule made on commenting on your own staff application in thanks for someone's rating of your application. Sorry for the potential misunderstanding.
I agree with this very much, Players most of the time post on their app because they have a valid reason, but sometimes players just post thank you posts, which are nice and all. but the problem is you are bumping your own app, also asking for posts is rather shunned upon i think it should be added too.
