Minecraft Name: Vintage_Gamer Suggestion: Remove all Applications, and Staff Requests from the "New Posts" list. Reason: I personally use the "New Posts" area to see community discussions, and not Applications and requests that clutter it up. When I am on the forums I like to see whats new within the community with the discussions. I believe this would allow users to be more engaged in threads that can actually have discussions as the forum sections below do not particularly have/ need discussion. Any Other Information: I think we should remove the following forums from the "New Posts" list: All Applications / Special Features All Requests / Reports / Contracts All Ban Appeals / Complaints Link To This Plugin: xF Admin CP > Applications > Display Node Tree > *Click Forum* > Forum Options > Un-check this option:
+1 except for ban appeals/complaints. I personally like to see those. I don't think this is an option but I think it would be cool if you had the personal option to choose what shows up.
I know you can do that in Forum Sections, ie here: But that is not yet a feature on "New Posts" - Although, I like that idea.
-1 I like to know who is fighting one another. It's absolutely entertaining and quite honestly the reason I tend to stick around sometimes... to watch people duke it out. The things they write on there. Hehe. The other stuff... I could care less about I guess. Maybe just keep new town applications up or something.
There is a "New posts" section...? I simply check which images on the main page are grey and which ones are coloured to see any new posts.
I like the sound of this a lot. It frustrates me seeing a long list of lwcs for example in new posts. Personally though I think appeals/complaints should be left included. Will poke the powers that be to see if this can be changed.
