Suggestion: My suggestion is to do the exact same that we did with ban appeals / complaints. I think we should move all of the approved to a approve archive and a declined into a declined archive. Reason: This would make would not only clean up the suggestions forum, but make it look more professional. Any Other Information: Staff can sit down as a team, decline the ones they fell will not help the community and agree on what suggestions administrators need to review and implement. Tagged Users: @Mission001 - I would love your feedback / input on this suggestion when you have time.
This would be quite difficult to introduce retroactively... where would we put suggestions that never got a response? What about ones denied at the time and accepted later? I think the system we have, though imperfect, can't be made better through what's suggested.
Suggestions that are locked or haven't been posted on in 2 months get moved to a seperate forum. Staff reviews the remaining. People can copy/paste suggestions if they feel like it should be implemented. EDIT: We shouldn't have a denied/accepted sorting system. Instead it should be active/inactive suggestions.
I'll answer each one of your questions individually. Suggestions that don't yet have a responce will sit there so users can +1 / -1 while staff discuss wether this suggestion needs to be tagged for administrators to review as it would help our community or denied. If the staff team discuss in the future that this suggestion would help out, delete your comment, move the thread to the accepted archive and post a comment stating why it was accepted and thanks for posting this. You do admit that the new look of ban appeals / complaints looks a lot better, correct? People like feedback on their suggestions. This is why I believe that this is needed to be implemented.
Sure! That would clear the clutter a little bit. But how does the player know if the suggestion was accepted for (Reason) or denied for (Reason). Feedback is very nice, especially when putting a suggestion out there. This is why the staff team should discuss the suggestions that are currently non-replied to and make a final decision on the suggestion.
I'm saying that we should just archive 2 month+ suggestions reguardless. Staff doesn't even look at them. If people feel their suggestion is worthy, they can repost it. Every couple of weeks, staff can go through the active ones and deny/accept.
