Minecraft Name: ModernPerils Suggestion: Add a lotto "event" to with no tax and a limited amount of tickets available to buy. Reason: I personally don't see this as necessary, but it would be really cool addition to replace taxback lotto. Since we don't have taxback anymore, it would be cool if another was implemented. This would be a different twist and be original. It would be fair to all people if we had the cap of a certain amount of tickets so lotto isn't dominated by the 200tix snipers... if we are concerned about the lottos being small there could be a system added so that the prize for the win is all the money (no tax) with a 25% bonus. This would be more fair to the resident and be another great addition. This way lotto would have more evened out chances and more people would participate because of the bonus prize and the fact that the 200tix domination is out of the question. Other Information: It could be that you have a maximum of 20 tickets or so that you could buy and there is no tax just for 10 draws. Doesn't have to be exactly as I described, but something along these lines would be awesome! If anything, start taxback lottos again. You say that this could replace taxback lottos but taxback lottos were only "no tax" until someone other than andrew won. Sure, this would be interesting, but takes away the point of lotto, which is to remove money from the economy.
I am not looking at the point of lotto, we can have a few draws that are not meant to take money out of the economy... It is meant entirely for the fun of it Like I said, the lotto doesn't have have to be exactly as I described
If you are referring to things like crazy lotto, I wouldn't say "entirely for fun". It may seem like that but there is also a point in taking out money.
If you look at tax back lottos... How much money is taken out of the economy in that? None... It is only transferred to another user. Tax back doesn't necessarily take money out, it is meant to be fun
Actually, money is taken out. When the final winner wins it all, all the tax from the previous lottos is all taken out at once.
I disagree with making a ticket cap, the lottery should maintain its place as a pump to get as much money as possible out of the economy.
As good as this sounds, no. Imagine it was at peak times? There would be mass amounts of inflation. Max tickets is never good either, you should be able to play lotto as you please.
