Suggestion - needed

People earned those. It wouldn't be fair just to take it away..

 

There is one other point i would like to make. How would you feel if andrew one day decided to wipe EVERY town and start a whole new world, without a single cent of compensation. If andrew told you the reason he deleted all your hard work simply because 'there are too many towns'. Would you be happy? No. Would you think it was useful in any way or fair? No. If you totally agree with all of those statements and thought it was fair, then continue supporting this suggestion. If not, you might aswell have a mod lock this. Not only is this suggestion far from likelyhood, but it is also just plain out pointless.

This is utterly pointless, it's like saying "Oh you farmed for 5 days straight to get 5 of each max tool? Too bad it's getting removed"

The thing is, while you are willing many many other users are not. Some people spent all of their money for a tool like that. This will without a doubt cause mass confusion and mass quitting on ecc. Maybe not the presidents, but builders and residents more than likely would.

Some people don't get money that easily ohmrs, there's no reason to take their hard work away.

And this is not just so it does not affect me, I don't really care about my eff 5 tools I only ever use eff 4 except for my axe.

 

Clear every Eff5 pickaxe and axe on the server?

Probably never gonna happen.

There is absolutely no point. It doesn't make money harder to get, Fort3 tools are just as good with different crops.

 

Not really what I'm trying to say. If they lost their Eff5 axe, they could easily get a Fort3 and start farming something else.

 

Tdogg120 and OhMrsKittyKat, I would like for both of you to remain on the topic of the thread (that being the discussion of eff5 pickaxes) and to drop the subject of OhMrsKittyKat losing features to a scammer. Anymore off topic comments referring to that incident and not relating to this thread is not necessary in here.

Alright, so, here is my thoughts on this matter. When experience prices were plummeting AndrewKM did not delete every bit of exp on the server because it was too easy to get. This is an economy and it needs to deal with the fluctuations that will occur. So what if the eff 5 pickaxe market is dropping. We have new tools that people will now strive for. Eff 7 tools will now be on everyone's list. Are you suggesting that when eff 7 tools become common that we edit those out as well?

I personally think that removing all personal maxed out tools from players would cause an outrage. I am not talking about 'oh the melon price changed' outrage, I mean a full blown outrage. This would never work, would never fly with the players, and I hope that Andrewkm never considers this suggestion.
