Minecraft Name: WhiteStarX0312. Suggestion: Add a national chat that everyone can read that does not depend on what world you are in. Reason: As I was on one night, the chat was very quiet and I noticed that half the people on the server were in the Rising world. I was then informed that Rising and Legacy have different global chats, which makes sense. Although, while you are in the nether you can still talk to people in the global chat but I am unaware if this defaults to the Rising or Legacy global. It would make much more sense if there were a national chat which could be read and accessed from all worlds instead of two separate global chats that split the users in half. I have also realized this means that half of the moderators need to be in Rising and half need to be in Legacy to keep both chats clean. By adding this, it would allow moderators to do as they please in whatever worlds they want since I know most farms and towns are in Legacy. Any Other Information: I would love to see this incorporated into ECC because even in the Staff applications there is a question about teamwork and synergism, so I can't see why we would want to split everyone in half because of a increase in land availability. Rising and Legacy don't have different chats. Global channel is the same no matter what world you are in. The same with Trade, Auction, and VIP, as well with town channels. World only matters for specific world channels (like /ch mining) and local (400 block distance).
Nicit is right. Global covers both Rising and Legacy, as well as every other world and map on ECC. After about 11pm PST/2AM EST US, the server goes into one of the most off-peak stages and chat generally dies down to nothing, unless someone starts a conversation. Sometimes off-peak starts sooner, and often it starts later on the weekends.
Really? I heard some people talking about how they wished there was more to do around Rising while they moderated the chat there. Maybe I misunderstood, they may have just been talking about there being no farms around RISING so they could moderate the LOCAL chat at spawn.
