[Suggestion] Nation-Nation portals

Suggestion: Actually a 2 fold suggestion:

1) Allow nations to purchase portals linking nations with different owners

2) Allow towns to purchase portals linking towns with different owners

Reason:

1) Friendship/ Positive player interaction encouraged
As ECC continues to expand I find I am meeting more people that I would like to interact with. Maintaining a close friendship outside of the spawn area is cumbersome. The ability to "hang out" together and share ongoing things would be greatly enhanced if it were simple to flit back and forth between the 2 areas, be they a nation or a town. This is most challenging for those who do not have a large package of donation features with warp, tp, multihome, etc.

2) Economic Benefits
With the ferocious prices for well placed spawn shops reaching insane (and unprofitable) heights I would like to attract more players to my own nations and my many features and shops. Shop owners in too many of the shops are now faced with raising prices to unreasonable levels on items in an attempt to regain huge investments. This is leading to a smaller selection of items and sadly, of late, many many items not restocked or quickly selling out.

However, it is not an easy thing to draw customers out of the spawn area into towns where the items actually are for sale. Town portals are very nice, but not easily found and addresses are not always easily located or even described. Allowing compatible town owners to set up connections between themselves and another town would spread the population out more but still allow owners to make the choice of where their citizens would have access.

3) ECC Server Benefits
As the leading economic Minecraft server, I humbly suggest that encouraging growth of towns and nations will enhance the value of our server. Adding additional ways to attract people to my town is something I spend a great deal of time working over and thinking about. I would like to have more features I can purchase that will make my town "better". More things I can do, more stuff I can add .

I would certainly leap at the chance to form portal links with certain other nations and towns, building more contacts, working out more agreements. I find this to be a very exciting possibility and I suspect there are others that would feel the same.

From a revenue standpoint, ECC would potentially gain quite a bit of additional revenue by charging some awful price like $100,000 per portal without creating the need to add an additional server mod. These would basically be just one more portal (ok, 2 more portals) to place when admins have the time.
