[Suggestion] Multiple Bank Accounts

    Suggestion: To allow users to make seperate bank accounts on the forums for their ECD.

    Reason: Let's say you want to save 120k for a donation feature. Instead of having it in your balance and might be tempted to spend it, you could have an account on the forums to put it in.

    Commands include: /bank deposit <account name > (Amount)

    /bank withdrawal <account name > (amount)

    So you could do like /bank deposit savings 10000 or bank deposit townfund 10000

    Feel free to comment if you want to add something to the suggestion

    I like the idea, but if it can't be implemented you could always just put money inside of a sign.

    Signs are never recommended to store money in per the server. The only safe place is in your balance as long as you are active or have enough not to get wiped.

    Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking.

    It might be hard to keep track of but maybe have a limit on the amount of accounts? Like less then 4 per user?

    Just an idea I can throw out into the open regarding how this could work:

    You apply for a secondary "bank account" on the forums, which also grants you an extra stock trader portfolio. The GA team creates an account for you with a temporary password. It would be some code involving your username, like "Nicit6.Bank.A" or something. The account can only transfer money on the forums with the main account and other banks owned by the same person. The secondary account would not be able to post to the forums, except where directly needed (ie stock trader archive forum).

    This has the drawback of probably not being possible, but oh well.

    I like nicit's idea, but I was thinking it would be better if your second bank account had like a separate tab under your main forum account. Then it would prevent losing your other account info or something.

    Why not deposit it into your regular bank account? Isn't that what the bank was created for?

    Well if you are saving to buy a, let's say Eff7, you don't want to accidentally spend the money in your bank that your supposed to be saving for the eff7.

    -1 If the commands you proposed were used, that could allow anybody to access your bank account, hold on, sorry, *Cough* Identity theft *Cough*.
    If this does come into play, then it should be /bank withdraw <account name> <Passcode> <amount>

    No, you would only be able to get into your own account under that name. Multiple people could have an account called "funds" but when you did /bank withdrawal funds 100000 it would come out of your own "funds" account

    I've thought about this a bit more, and saw how many problems in code this would cause. And for that reason, even if it were to cause KH more work (<3 XD) I wouldn't say +1 to this anymore.

    Not needed, and can be done with trade sign archiving.
