Minecraft Name: Grantcfo Suggestion: I think that we should add a plugin that gives more space in your inventory such as a backpack plugin of some sort. And if it's just to easy to give someone more inventory at will, why not make this a donation feature for $5-$10 Because It shouldn't be $15 for another inventory. I would recommend $5 because It's like an SG kit, and my parents don't let me get like $15 donations, and plus I feel that I should get to price it since I came up with the idea, but that's my opinion. If you agree, please make the price $5-$10. Reason: Sometimes, people's chests overflow with crap and they want to orginize it, but when they try to get all the items out, they might find that their inventory is also full of crap as well. So then they walk to another chest and put the crap in there, and it also overflows with crap, because they don't have room for anything, but if we have a plugin for like a backpack, we could store it there instead of hoarding our chests. Also, some builders or residents might want to move to a town, but they have a bunch of stuff in their chests that they want to bring with them. Since we can only set one home now, we have to walk back and forth over and over again, or just teleport home then go back to the other town, but you can only hold so much in your inventory. If we have a backpack plugin then we can move twice as much stuff at once, and save ourselves some time. Any Other Information: Bukkit plugin Link To This Plugin: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/backpack/
i love building stuff but getting the supplies from my old town to my new town is sooo hard because i can only take an inv full this would be very helpful +1
Ruins minecraft/ECC it's a mod that has a backpack in it. If you want more storage without leaving that area this is what I do. Set a home there and deposit the loot, or bring a silk pick with you and a ender chest just like a backpack eh?
-1 We don't need it, it's giving a advantage. As much as we would like to have it, we don't need it. Just organize your chests.
d_face012 Since the /home bed was disabled, they can't do that, unless they have MultiHome. I Don't have multihome, and if some builder, let's say, doesn't have it, then it takes them longer TheYoungGun Yes, But Some people might not always have one with them, or it might be in another town that they would have to go to to get it. Some people, like me in this scenario, don't have one.
One I made two solutions in this case and get multihome as well, a foolish reason to add this in, because that will ruin the economy, market, donation features, and as well like the hopper this may have lots of dupes.
Why would it ruin the economy, and also, why would it ruin the market and donation features. Oh, and also, why is it foolish. Do you have reasons for this d_face012?
-1 I do not like the idea of it, and it also promotes me selling my items in my inventory instead of hoarding it.
Good miners would have the idea of choosing specific materials to save space and would sell their hand for items that would not be found buying in the trade shop. It also slows down the rate the mining world gets destroyed. If you have a back pack people would not have to worry about running out of space. They would rarely use the /sell hand key and would make competition for the ores harder because people who reach the mining world first would have a lot of cobblestone in their bag and take most of the ores. Think about the long term effect of a plugin that increases inventory. That plugin causes problems to new people to the server because the lack of ores (because people would only store the useless and overflowing items to make room for valuables) which income comes from is gone. And what will they do? Mine the leftover cobblestone and leave with only $20? No. Usually I leave with 2.5K in the mining world (1K if I do the /sell hand command and $500 if I do not use my fortune pickaxe) and that is a lot of money for a builder. Think of all the people that will leave because of the lack of resources. Think of the Builders. The lifeline of this server. The potential donors of the server. The next buyers of our goods because they do not have anything, and they were saving up for it. Think of all the progress and how uninteresting chat would be without them (I enjoy seeing the mod spam when the builders spam). In single player it would be helpful, but this is a server that it's young depend on the resources they dig up. The other effects would be disastrous for item hoarders because they wouldn't have the will to sell a ton of money. Don't think about the effects in the view of your personal needs. We live in a server that depends on the items in the mining world, which the plugin would be more useful. TL;DR: I go through the explanation why I am against of a back pack plugin.
No. First things first, a 5 dollar donation won't happen. Taxes and what not, andrew will lose money/make very little money. 10 dollars maybe. Second thing is, ECC is survival. There are no game changing things. Now before you start whining about tp's and all that, that is chat, not game mechanics. Game mechanics are stuff like, placing dirt, digging dirt, and ect ect. This would interfere with game mechanics. If you notice the "category's" section has a "mechanics" and mentions "game mechanics" in the description. Now I know, you get extra drops from stuff ect, even fastbreaking some stuff, buts there's not any new crafting recipes (game mechanics) or actual items (game mechanics). I don't want a sever with a bunch of mods. I can play survival Minecraft with very few gameplay tweaks. I like that. I know some people would like this, but Minecraft has a 36 slot inventory for a reason. Now lol, in real life you could barely carry ONE 3ft x 3ft solid block of stone. Much less a few hundred. But that's another argument. It's a good thought, and personally I like the idea of more inventory, but it doesn't exactly work, and if I wanted more game changing stuff, then i could (quoting andrew here) "Find another server." NO Minecraft was made to have so much room in your inventory, its already big as it is, there is no need to expand it. If you honestly need to organize your chests, then why not take 10 minutes out of your time to organize them? It took me an hour's worth to get all the wood and signs i need, and organize about 50+ full chests. It's honestly not that hard, just time consuming. 1. a five dollar feature probably won't ever happen. 2. Why add something because some users are too lazy to use chests to store multiple items? 3. this would impact many way of earning money, its hard to describe them but it will definitely ruin the economy in some way. 4. If you run out of room while mining/farming get macro's, and set them to every 3 minutes. This will stop your inventory from being full of cobble/farmed items. Keywords are in orange.
