[Suggestion] More items in HG

Add diamond ingots to that list.

 

I really like this idea, and i do believe more items for crafting armor/weapons should be available not just the the weapons and armor themselves, this would make hunger games much more dynamic in both game length, pvp skill, and minecraft skill.

 

+1 To axes (variety makes sg more interesting)
+-1 To bows (I'd like to see more variety in weapons, however, this would remove the point of finding sticks and string to make a bow.)
-1 to chainmail armor (sometimes when the server crashes, the items from the sg are switched with the ones you actually had. This is why you are advised to put important items in enderchest. If chainmail from sg started coming in from the mail world then the value of chainmail would go down. I've heard that in the past that there was chainmail armor but was removed for this reason.)
+1 to adding items to craft weapons (This would make it more based on survival then pure pvp)

 

chainmail is just as strong as gold, I see no reason to add it.
Bows, maybe very rare, but we already have sticks and strings to make bows from. (and many kits with bows)

I see no problems with axes or materials. (as long as there's no diamond, diamond is stupid)

 

Kuke, what is your opinion on unenchanted stone swords in normal SG chests?

I have played on sg servers that have diamonds, 3 games out of 10 I get a diamond sword, and if not I almost always get a diamond

 

Because if you get it, you win. It would overpower any other player, even kit users.

 

Actually miq is equivelent to a dia sword. But i see where ur going

 

Miq is 7.25 damage. Diamond is 7. I don't think that diamond swords/axes would be too op but diamond armor would.

 

And I'm talking extremely rare. Like, once every 100 chests you get 1. It would be practically impossible to get two in 1 game. But when someone does get it, they would be very happy.

 

That's not the way SG is set up. Chests are tiered, with items in each tier having an equal chance of being chosen for a chest. If it would be implausible to get 2 in one game, there's no need to implement it.

I'm not good with coding, and I know other servers can set the rarity of items, so I just made an assumption.

 

From what I've heard from Kuke, the coding of our SG is an absolute mess. While we can set the rarity of items, I think it's only to a degree. **Note: I am not a dev, could be terribly wrong.

 

I support addition of stone swords, bows and I think ender pearls should be added

 

You would be able to get to unreachable places.
Also, I like that stone swords don't exist because than I know if it says "so and so has been killed by so and so with a stone sword" than I know for sure someone used a kit.

 

Enderpearls were removed for abuse

 

Oh, didn't think of that. However wood/gold vs iron is a huge gap and if you only had a wood sword you stand hardly any chance at full health. I don't care for knowing that as you have to realize that nowadays there will probably be a kit user in every game.
