Thread Title: A suggestion for what minigames I/many others would like to see in the hub. Minecraft Name: OlympiansAreGods Suggestion: Add these to the hub to 1) Make more people log into ECC and play the hub. 2) Add features and perks for these games. 3) Make the hub fun. Reason: I thought I'd like to suggest some fun minigames we want to see. Other Information: Game #1 Mob escape; You have to run away from a wither or ender dragon who are destroying the course behind you. Well now, you can play it in minecraft! While sitting on a ever growing line of sheep, you have to eliminate other players by blocking them with your line of sheep. This is a minigame where you start on an island with a few items and create your weapons to pvp against the others. Is skywars different than skyblock? I'm a nub, who hasn't really played any server other than ecc. OITC I like, I'll add it to my investigate list.
@JamieSinn You're not a nub, you can code and develop things, I'm the nub xD Yes it is, skyblock is where you have to survive on your own and complete goals, and skywars is where people start on their own island and gather materials to reach the big island all while killing other players.
also @OlympiansAreGods Please try to find plugins that are on the Spigotmc.org site. Just a preference.
Instead of copying minigames from any other random server, which ontop of that is dead boring, make something unique? I don't see why players would play on our server if it's similar to all other? -1 on all.
I like fast paced minigames, especially like OITC. Just don't want to see all of these added at once, I wouldn't want us to have tons of rarely played games.
But they wouldn't be rarely played, each person likes something different, and there are more than enough players to fill up a game of about 12-16 players.
There is also more than enough players to fill up a few sg maps at the same time.... Doesn't mean that has happened in a few months now.
Yeah, but the main focus will still be the main server. Assuming 100 people online, and 50 are playing on the main server, that's 50 people playing an assortment of games. That's 4 games/maps filled with 12/13. My idea is basically expand the offerings as we get more players. After all, if we say we have a certain game, then a player joins to play that game, then sees that there is nobody here actually playing that game, I doubt they'll be very likely to stay.
I would love to see OITC implemented!! Also, maybe sometime in the future we could start a discussion on having Block Party? I know I heard Jamie was doing a separate project with this. @JamieSinn
+1 to spleef, OITC, and snake (which is NOT dull btw). I would also like to suggest Super Jump which is a 1v1 parkour minigame, and Syndicate games which is a 1v1 SG-style game.
