From what I've heard it's possible to crash with one or two people, so for now we just have to wait for jakwy and Andrew to refresh there list : P
The first's a tool only available to staff, it will always stay that way because it shows people's balances. mctop was removed because it made the server lag.
there is no really convenient fix... the way that mctop works (dont quote me on this its what i heard :|) is it runs through thousands of different player files and collects everybody's McMMO stats, this is naturally laggy and there is no real way to make is less laggy...
