Ign: @RyanBlocks2 Suggestion: Clarify Mcmmo Rules Reason: So currently the rule states the following: Usage of automated means is allowed for MCMMO grinding, providing you are not generating money and are not afk (e.g. an autoclicker to train the swords skill on a player is allowed, an autoclicker to train the swords skill on a mob spawner is not). Now, correct me if i'm wrong but the staff team considers going for a coupon using mcmmo for generating money. So, first off let me just say that if this is the case I could make an argument that anyone using automated means could be going for a cupon, therefore making it illegal entirely. Secondly, this is in direct conflict with the rule. Id prefer the rule would either be changed so that these two things don't conflict or leveling to get a coupon not be considered making money. Now, let me make an argument for not considering a coupon making money. You arent actually making money from leveling swords. You're making money from having a high swords level. If I used automation to get myself a high swords level and then went and won a PvP tourney and got a prize would that be considered making money? Cause that's the kind of logic I see here and it doesnt make a lot of sense to me.
If anything the exception should be removed. Automating anything is stupid. Autoclickers should be banned. Completely.
That would be the most realistic solution I suppose. Either way the rule is in conflict with coupons being considered money making.
Solving this issue is extremely simple. Install ClientPermissions on the server and then block the "KEY", "KEYUP" and "KEYDOWN" commands and eliminate the rules regarding the legality of automated McMMo training and make it strictly illegal. Allowing players to automate things is stupid. All it does is cause needless issues and drama. If you want to train your McMMo, you should be actually putting work into it. Simple.
Contrary to popular belief, there aren't "simple" ways to bypass ClientPermissions. The ONLY ways to bypass it are creating a modified version of MacroMod or intercepting the plugin message from the server which involves directly modding Minecraft. These ways aren't "simple" and most people don't even know how to properly do this or even bother for the matter. Anyway, I wasn't referring to that alone as "simple". I was directly referring to the point of making it illegal. It's stupid to allow players to automate this anyway, and it only causes needless issues.
