Minecraft Name: xOSneakyBaconOx Suggestion: For staff members not to lock LWC removal threads if the user has forgotten to link the original town application in the thread. Instead of locking the thread a moderator should leave the thread open with the following "Left open for @<USERNAME> to provide a link to the original town application. Then when the user has linked the town application in the same thread he/she would say the following. "Here is the link to the original town application <@Staff member who handled the thread>" Reason: It has came to my attention that quite a lot of people somehow forget to link the original application, instead of them copying and pasting the same application onto another thread it seems logical to leave the first one open. Leaving a thread open in such a forum area that can explode will have it get lost and unattended to. I think it is best - and faster, in the end - to have a user make a new thread. Everyone needs to be taught to read the formats required; if they do not, it is their own fault. Simply asking for a single thing will not get users to actually go back and look at the format.
That's why I have a little box in the corner for alerts But still, that area is very active, I've seen people post 20 LWC's in a row. It can't hurt much, but really, it's not that hard to make a new thread.
I agree with Moofink. As an Smod, I can honestly say that there are days I get online to 30 brand new lwcs. If I simply had left open from the night before the ones who forgot to add the original application, then it would have been a while til I found them again. Further, like with most issues on ECC, if the format is wrong, which is what this is a format problem, then it is suppose to be rejected. We reject most appeals/complaints with the wrong format. We reject town apps, res apps, etc that have the wrong format. It is simply how its run to keep the clutter of our forums to a minimum. Thus, I am sorry to say I disagree. Revanrose6
