lotto should be $100 each because 1k is too much and lots of people loses lotto. and also it should be $100 is because more people will play it and if you lose you will only lose a small amount.
Despite the non-existent format I agree with this. It makes me happier having 10 tickets instead of 1. Like in those Capital One commercials, its better to have more!
I don't agree with this, for three reason.: people are more likely to 1 ticket lottos, regardless of the price of the tickets. Let's say 10 people 1 ticket a lotto with your prices, that would be 9k less than what it was before, this also means there will be less money taken out of the economy. Lottery is for the rich, and the rich like throwing with money, they're more likely to put more money in the lotto when the tickets are more expensive than when they're cheap. (It's human behaviour, not sure how to explain it) it messes up my math on http://lottery.radthorne.com . ;-; (Not really a valid point, but meh)
Either way is fine. I'd just feel more awesome throwing in a thousand tickets instead of a measly hundred.
I don't really think that's a good idea. One of the main points of the lotto is for the exciting risk of it. If it costs 100, then it wouldn't be that risky would it? Anyone could easily afford it.
It used to be 100, but then we moved it up BECAUSE of so little money being taken out of the economy. Now, 500, that's reasonable.
Correct, but the lotto will dramatically change either ways. Now a 60000 ECC lotto would turn into a profit much smaller.
