this would be interesting just let me know in advance so i can make sure i'm nowhere near ecc (i don't wanna lose my money)
Can you please use the format for making suggestions? I feel like you're going out of your way to annoy us like you feel like those rules don't apply to you
-1. AFAIK lotto takes about as much out of the economy in one day as money is put in with /sell, so an important valve for the economy.
If we did this we would have to raise taxes on the other days. We rely on lotto to take money out of the economy. -1
So, here's some math on this YAY MATH! There are lotto's ever 15m on ECC, and assuming that it starts at midnight, there are a total of 96 lottos per day. (24 *60) / (15) = 96 On average the lotto is about $40,000, which totals $3,840,000 in the lottery 96 * 40,000 Tax is 15%, which is 576,000 per day taken out. 3,840,000 * 0.15 This means that there would be an extra 500k in the economy. How would you remove this? That is your next question as we must keep the economy balanced. -1
Yay math! I agree. I wish I would have had enough time/had thought of it to add some math, too...but anyway, you did it now. May I also not only agree with your "Yay math" statement, but also with your calculation and the fact that the economy needs to be kept balanced?
As an addition to what you are saying people will probabally be more inclined to play lotto on the day that there is no tax and in turn declined to play on the days where there is a tax, but I don't think there's any way we can calculate an exact amount or an accurate estimate of what this would cost but what we can logicly assume is that it would increase lotto played on the day with no tax and decrease on the days of tax, therefore increasing the amount of money not taken out of the economy.
I would love to match this idea up with @clou44 with repaying scammed users. If you had one day with no tax, or very low tax, You could have a stint where tax could be slightly higher with both proceeds going to a cause. Also, you should fix your original post with the actual suggestion layout @matrix_rep Potential +1 but atm +-1
We actually could remove the money, by increasing the lotto tax on days the are not that "Lotto Tax Free Day"
