I'm gonna get straight to the point. Make lotto teams enforced. I'm sick and tired of being agreed to get paid back if you lose lotto to your 'teammate' for them to turn around and ignore your pms, mail, and even log off on you. I understand that it's all part of the risk, but seriously something has to stop this stuff happening. I've been lotto scammed a good amount over 20 times and im sick fed up of it. Not only do I lose money but I also lose my temper as I have no patience for people like that. In my honest opinion if you agree to a lotto team, you should be enforced to pay it back. It's just like loans, if you agree to pay back you must pay back. If they don't want to team simply just say no, but there are some very shady people on this server that will ask you for team, you'd pay them back but they wouldn't pay you back. but I guess there will always be them some people. Please Jamie/phys/andrew/higher ups, just work something out for this to stop happening, me and a lot of others are sick of this **** happening everyday. Thanks
if you make a verbal agreement it should be honered and enforced by staff ... verbal contracts about other things are enforced why not lotto teams? +69
ok, we both go in 100 on this lotto, matrix (who is not teamed with us) goes in 500. what would I need for evidence? also, what if I go in 20, you go in 20 and I only win $39000?
yes and why did u sensor the word shit, guys when he did the **** he meant the word shit ok cool, btw +1 on the thingy boper
@Dccciz I believe in the agreement it should be made as /pm (user) do u agree to lotto team for this round and if one of us wins pay the other back and if the winner makes no profit if he pays back then he gets to keep the money. well thts how id do it
@Dccciz the damn round that is occurring at the time of the verbal agreement do u need it spoon fed to u gosh
I'm just asking questions that staff will need to know the answer to before they accept/deny this suggestion. Do you talk to staff this way when they ask you to fix something in a contract?
So you're saying that the person who won the lotto takes the loss? Makes 0 sense imo. If we were to add these roles I think we would only require team repayments after taxes - meaning if you don't win you take the 15% hit. I'm against rules like this though, it's gambling for a reason. Contracts would be inappropriate and in game agreements would be messy.
By that logic, loans shouldn't be enforced... Loans, are meant to be a risk. Why do you think investors irl invest in these "Junk bonds", High risk bonds? Because they offer great returns if the legal persons you're lending to are able to payback the loan! Loans and lotto are a risk. So by that logic, why are we enforcing loans then?
IRL if a company you have bonds in fails you have a (limited, but there) right to a portion of the sale/liquidation/what have you of the company. IRL if you lose the lottery... tough.
Well... When a country completely defaults on it's debt, you really don't get anything... (A large part of the bond market if not most of it is national bonds, which countries don't have to apply to the same rules as corporations do.) Same with losing lotto...
