There is a way to buy all your tickets at once, so there's no reason someone should ever be spamming up the channel with single ticket buys. Leaving the lotto channel isn't something I wanna do because i enjoy watching who buys and who wins, as well as using this info to determine whether i wanna buy or not.
I remember there being a rule about excessive lotto spam as a Moderator somewhere. But as for it, it should be treated unless it's a crazy lotto.
Back when I was a major troll I used to get kicked for spamming 10+ tickets. The rule should be consistent and staff should treat it the same for any player.
As many times as this has been suggested, nothing has ever been done to slow down the lotto spam (not crazy). It is too important to remove money from the economy for a suggestion like this to ever be truly enforced.
Same argument applies to /ch leave g. Also, some people, like me and @Grimm123 like seeing lotto messages. I don't see how this prevents removing money from the economy. There will always be lotto, and saying that preventing lotto spam will cool down lotto, is not right/accurate.
From what I've seen, staff have been warning people when it's overexcessive. It would be nice if the rule was changed explaining an limit.
Lotto spam helps create a frenzy where one spammer likes to one ticket more than another spammer. It is also the reason why even if you have lotto messages turned off, they just announce it in the general chat over and over again as well. And when that does not work, I have even seen them spend money on shouts trying to get more players.

And lotto will be a myth 250 years later- The Textbook of the Lotto Myth in the Year 2250 In the year 2015, there was said to be a thing called "lotto", where people wasted money to gain, when only a few gained something out of it. The lotto is a lie, there has been no proof of ECC having lotto at all, as it's records have been destroyed for private use.
-1 The only way people can spam at the speeds they're going at is to link the command (/lot buy 1) to an item. Every time they use it, the command will also be used. So, really the only solution is either take out that feature, which is a horrible idea, or make you actually wait a certain amount of time before you can send another ticket in, which... *Cough* Crazy Lotto *Cough*. Sorry, don't know what happened there.
