Alright so as you may know, Radthorne isnt coming back. Therefore we can't keep track of lottery leaderboards etc. My suggestion is simple: Bring it back As you may know, sg stats were redone by none other than @KHobbits himself. Well now I wish for him to create one like it, bit for lottery winnings. Sorta like the old one, but include recents wins like sg stats do. This would allow us to continue to keep track of our lotto winnings like we keep up with our SG Winnins. Thank you for your time. -Yokeby52
+1 Maybe this could have total amount of $ spent and total amount of $ earned? So we can see if we actually profit.
This would need to be a fresh project as the person who managed it was Kuke/Radthorne, who are currently banned. As i have stated above.
This isn't something we'd add because we need it, but that's okay. One of my pet peeves is saying suggestions "aren't needed" as most innovation isn't needed. We don't "need" some of the things that make our experience what it is - but they're absolutely amazing and shouldn't change. Convenience is amazing, innovation is awesome, and one could always make the argument they aren't needed. /endrant But anyway, I think this would be rather hard to implement, as lottery isn't built to be tied to a scoreboard as far as I'm aware, while SG was.
I admire your views on innovation and optimism for the progression of the the server and as a race. What I meant when I said it was not needed I was referring to the aspect of using the board to gain an advantage. The only other use for the board is learning how much players have won or loss and who plays more or less. Things like that. By my comment saying this was unneeded was referring to my own ventures trying to win lotto. The only reason i see this being useful is simply to see what others have won and similar information. Not learning how to win yourself. My statement only applies to my self interests it was not on the suggestion as a whole. So as I said before this would only be for fun and to gather minor details about players. I dont know if this can be implemented unless it's manually updated? I know there are threads and there used to be a system that monitored wins.
