Minecraft Name: Avaina1918 Suggestion: Bringing back the live map, or at least a static one that gets updated daily. Reason: Well, it would help with directions on getting to a certain place in your town (Pontvert Inc. has one on their thread). Instead of a list of directions, they can just draw the route on a screenshot of the live map! This also works when a mayor+ posts a thread advertising the need of someone to clear/build buildings. He can take a screenshot of the map and highlight the things he wants someone to build/destroy and make things a lot easier. Also, Residents need to find a 200x200 area to claim a town. When I went on my journey to find what is now Las Sendas, I had so many fails where a town was in my way that it's not even funny! A live map would've help me, and past Residents, a lot. Any Other Information: It doesn't have to be a live map either, it can be a static map updated daily. And I already know that about 10-15 people will reply or think, "Hurr, durr, lag. -1" It doesn't have to be laggy! Honestly, it would take quite a bit of effort to "draw" the entire map, think about it, Also loading all the chunks under certain circumstances can create lag.
Yea it would be, if someone had the time to fly around the whole map with a world downloader then somehow convert it into a minimap then it would be great.
The LiveMap was removed due to the amount of lag it produced. I don't feel like having that lag back, just for the rare times when a user would actually use it.
