Suggestion: Link the forums to ingame using a popular xenforo plugin known as Minesync.

Essentially, we get a username under the profile of everyone who's linked their account.

    Reason:
Gets rid of the need for the IGN question in applications.
You are able to link multiple mc accounts to one forum account, so you know who's got an alt etc
I think you can bind their IGN to their forum account- if so, no more Name Change applications.

***A LOT MORE TO ADD, BUT IM ON A PHONE RN SO WHEN I GET ON A PC I WILL ADD MORE KTHXBYE***

    Any Other Information:
    Nope

Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?:
    https://nanocode.io/products/minesync
Read through the features of Minesync on that page

Aren’t you supposed to put your account as your ign anyway? Just get rid of the username question

Extremely dangerous and not ever going to happen.
It requires us to expose our xenforo database to the world.
