Minecraft Name: steveshizzle Suggestion: While the justice system on ECC towards griefing and other rule-breaking doesn't appear to have any real serious flaws, I think it would be more realistic and more economically beneficial to some if we were to bring in a legal system with a designated prosecution and defense. For instance, moderators who are more than well aware of the server rules can be payed to help defend banned users to help give them less harsh punishments. Any other information: After a decent Google search, I have determined that no other Minecraft server has such a system and we would either be the first to institute one or the first to put it out there. The main problem I see with this is time, ecc's staff allready have enough things to do with applications, complaints, ban appeals and etc etc, if this is implemented, it might be better to have some users act as "lawyers and judges" (I nominate welikeike22 )
The current system is simple and it works, I don't see a reason to complicate that which already works the way it's supposed to.
You could turn this into a User-Based system, because to be frank while this is a great idea, it would have to have been implemented much earlier in the server if it were to be feasible. We're simply too large to make a change like this at the moment.
What's the issue with the current system? This tries to solve a problem that never existed. It's a cool idea though.
This would indeed make things much more complicated and would just increase the work load. What we have works fine now and gives the user another chance per say. Keeping it simple and efficient is always handy.
As Ike put it. This is a neat idea, but not on our server. We're far to big to implant something like this. Also, I feel like this would be implanting much more of a Role-Play stance on the server when it comes to Moderating. Although that would be cool, we prefer to handle things like; Appeals, Complaints, Griefs, etc. In a mature, professional manner. Not saying this suggestion couldn't be made into above things, it wouldn't be feasible with our large population we have today.
