I think that the server would be greatly improved if the size was increased. Other information: 1. I understand that you can get server bypass by donating but NOT EVERYONE IS A MILLIONAIRE. 2. I understand this would probaly cost money to do but I think it would greatly improve the server. 3. I understand you make money by people who donate to get server bypass but how many more potential donors would join ecc if when a potential new player typed in mc.ecocitycraft.com on their address list they didn't get 180/180 and go try another server.
The only problem with this is lag. The higher the player limit is, the more lag there is going to be. Not to mention if it were to increase the player limit to 200. You would still have this problem. There are many non donators who can not get on just because of the player cap. There will still be the 199/200 race to get in. It used to be at 200 so I've seen this happen.
Also, not everyone who donated is a millionaire. Secondly, no one has donated more than $2000 IRL money, I think Third, donating fixes all your problems.
We understand not everyone can donate and that's ok. You can play ECC just fine without having to give money. You have to look at the player cap from an administration point of view though. If you we're running the server would you want 180 players having a good gaming experience, or 200 having a bad experience? Trust me I feel your pain. I was a non-donator forever. But you can see why it is how it is if you look at it from Andrews view
