Minecraft Name: SuburbSomeone Suggestion: I'm suggesting that the /sell price of a nether star increases to $350. Reason: Losing so much money to /sell can deflate a Builder's confidence. With a sell price that is more reflective of the market, but still well below it, a Builder will still be able to do well with /sell ing the items. And plus, the addition of two new votes showed that the nether star price is relatively stable around $500. It won't drop below $350. Like many others I would have preferred an abolished /sell price, but I guess that was not in the cards. Any Other Information: Nope. Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: Nope, I think you just adjust /sell values in config.
I agree completely with increasing the price as so many builders make the mistake of using /sell hand when they could be making a lot more money per star over what the server actually gives them. I would increase the value a bit more than 350$ or completely remove being able to sell Nether Stars but in general I agree with putting the /sell price up so builders can make money even if they make a mistake. +1
I made it $350 as the market does have wiggle room but would be unlikely to go below $350 at this point. Or even $400 but I think it was kept low for a reason.
Since Andrew has denied removing the price, +1, but I'd rather not raise it to the extreme you're suggesting. Raising it to $200 is enough. Having the server price at $350 could cause some major issues down the road when nstar prices drop more.
$200 is still really not too much. Given that we just added two votes and it's already stabilized, I seriously doubt it will even go below $400... what makes you think that it could drop below that point?
I personally think $300 or $400 is a better price. I like rounded numbers. But still, +1 for the builders
He thinks there should be some sort of baseline for them in case the market crashes. But it's far too low as it is currently.
The price is set the way it is to promote user exchange at higher prices. We have denied removing it from sell all, and changing the price numerous times in the past.
