Have you ever been doing something on the forums, and some one needs you but you don't know? This is where that can be fixed! Minecraft Name: ww2fan168 Suggestion: In-game chat alert Reason: A lot of times, members are on the forums enjoying themselves when all of a sudden a member needs them. The player ( playera. ) would not know this player is needing him while he is typing up his long thread here. This would allow playera. to go back over to the Minecraft window, and answer the player that needs him. What would happen with this chat alert? Well, a player would say your name ( lets say your name is Billy ). Joe needs you so he types, " Hey, Billy , I need you! I want to join your town! ". The red text is the chat alert, it would play a little "ding" in game and cause you to see what's happening. That's why I think this would be needed. For both staff and players. Any Other Information: I explained it all above Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: http://www.curse.com/bukkit-plugins/minecraft/noisenotifications
-1 Eh, I see your reasoning for wanting such a plugin to be added, however I see this as being more of an annoyance/unnecessary addition than something particularly useful...It is quite a cool idea though.
If you use the watson mod (Legal on ECC) you can set certain words to be displayed in a colour of your choice, and I think having a sound play when certain words are mentioned is something that macro mod is capable of (@314 can possibly confirm).
