So, as I've been hanging around the help/support forums for quite a while, I thought about a tagging system, somewhat like developers have for bugs and issues. The reason for this is because errors and et al are not always easily identifiable, and this would make it much easier to know what has to be addressed still, as well as what cannot be fixed, and what is simply user error, just from the title alone I suggest we (if possible) allow mods+ to set the label/prefix of a thread in help/support, with the following available, and with the following reasons to attach: Bug - For standard bugs that users encounter and are able to reproduce. User Error/Client Error - User did something wrong, and mistook it for a bug. MC Issue - Base Minecraft Issue, unfixable by us. Server Issue - Issue with something server related. Plugin errors go here. Help/Support - User requiring help/support. Developer Needed - Developer needed for this issue. SA+ Needed - SA+ Needed for this issue. Could be bundled into GA+ GA+ Needed - GA+ Needed for this issue. Those are the ones for in progress support cases, here are the ones I propose for a case being solved. Not Fixable Won't Fix Resolved Cannot Replicate Duplicate They are mostly self explanatory. Of course, this is understandably a lot of prefix's to add to the admin cp. But I feel it will help quite a great amount for staff in general. It would make sure that a users bug report is not left behind and forgotten, as well as it would show that certain bugs are addressed quickly.
This could also be staff editing in a prefix of sorts, like [SA+ NEEDED] [DEV NEEDED] [USER ERROR] etc
Oh, I also forgot about an additional tag; CLOSED/RESOLVED That way users who have the bug as well, can go look there for a resolution.
