[Suggestion] Give Players a Way to Give Staff Feedback

If you want to give feedback you can forum PM a higher up, but I wouldn't mind a survey sort of thing, +1

 

+1 I don't like how a lot of mods esp the higher are always vanished. Mods are supposed to be here to help the server. NOONE is too high to always keep away from talking with people. There are a couple mods that I think make it a point to stay in sight. @ClarinetPhoenix has always been there anytime I've needed her and is rarely vanished. I feel some just disappear so they don't have to deal with interactions of members.

 

Or make staff feedback a public poll

 

I know that my opinion is against the grain of popularity on this thread - but I feel that Andrew is the server owner and has proven himself a successful leader. Sure, we have had a few exceptions with staff, but that is their personal choice to do what they do.
Each of us has an opportunity to give positive feedback each time a staff member posts on a thread or does something for us. It takes just a few seconds to tell them how much you appreciate everything they do, or give a quick rating (I personally use friendly a lot to show my appreciation).
As for negative feedback, it should be kept private as it is now in my humble opinion. I don't really want to hear or see it - and it should be dealt with on a personal basis.
I see enough players gripe when things don't go their way.
You already have a way to communicate about the staff team - pm N6 or Andrew.

 

I think it is a great idea and it can be very educative for mods as they can see how the community react to their services. Mods can realize if the community feel they are too much on /v or if they think they are helpful etc. It can also be an incentive to be more talkative and active on global chat so everybody knows there is a mod that is not afk or vanished.

On the one hand, I agree with you as some people could take the negative feedback as weakness, and disrespect them online or be quite trolly with them. Furthermore some people could use this to show their rejection to some mods which wouldn't show the real value of their work.

On the other hand, I think that a mod has to be someone that is loved and respected by the community and if you aren't you shouldn't be there.

In conclusion, I think it would be something great to be added. +1

I actually like this idea. I think it would be good for the community to let us know how they feel we're doing. (Btw, I'm always happy to recieve feedback, negative or postive, in the form of a forum pm) I think some sort of survey would be a good thing.
I do have to agree with @AdmiralD with the fact that negative feedback should be kept private, otherwise it opens up a whole new avenue for trolling and disrespect towards staff members.
